Melanie has been practicing Ashtanga Yoga for more than a decade herself and started part time teaching in 2010 besides being a documentary film producer. She founded Ashtanga Yoga Revolution in 2013 – a concept for teaching Ashtanga Yoga at different pop-up locations and destinations. Melanie taught at her Ashtanga Yoga pop-up shala in the South of Sri Lanka each winter season 2014 to 2016. Melanie is very happy to announce her retreat for November 2019 in Trancoso, Bahia in Brazil where she has spend a few European winters and which she considers a very special place.
With a professional background in the film industry, Melanie knows about the importance of having a tool to work on personal growth and to stay focused. She thinks that Yoga is a great practice to learn to deal with stress and anxiety, to achieve better well-being and happiness and to stay focused on one’s projects.
She would like to share the benefits of this wonderful practice with all who care to give it a try and join her at her November retreat at Trancoso, Bahia in Brazil.
Happiness is not a state to arrive at, but a manner of traveling.
